Village of Riverside

The initiative to join the Consortium was led by the Village’s Public Works Department as an immediate measure to update and maintain their current utility data in a GIS. Although the start of the program is weighted strongly for Public Works, Riverside considers joining the GIS consortium as an opportunity to coordinate several past independent departmental attempts at establishing GIS capabilities and provide community wide information to support operations and aid decision making for all staff.
